Expedition

It was my birthday! I turned 23 and I learned three things:
1) GPS on doesn't mean brain off.
2) Detours may lead to an achievement.
3) Taking detours is fun!

After my traditional birthday breakfest at my parent's house I started my expedition at the train station Heidelberg-Pfaffengrund/Wieblingen. I used a train to Haßloch (which is a funny name, it means "Hate hole" if you translate it directly). I started my GPS program and followed the track, which was a mistake. If I had checked the route for one second, I would have seen that it had a huge detour (about 4 km). So I walked 4,8 km instead of 4 km. But it was pretty good anyway: Nice landscape and very nice weather for a lovely walk. At a homestead I saw two little cute cats and remembered the Hashcat Achievement. I slowly went to the two cats and tried to lure them. One ran away, the other one came to me (see gallery). Finally, I reached the hash point. It was rather difficult and dangerous to get there as I had to walk next to a street where the cars drove like 100 km/h. The hash point was near to two fields, next to a wind engine. At the hash point, I sat down and opened a birthday gift I found in the mail this morning and ate one slice of my birhtday cake. It didn't look that good, but it was still tasty. After a little break I got beack to the station and went home. This expedition was really great!
