Across the street from a church in North Seattle.
Participants
Expedition
A good spot, near the house... and it's getting close to sunset!
Drove to the spot, parked nearby, photographed the GPS switching to nighttime mode - check! Chalk the location, take a picture of me - check! One more picture without the flash, to see what sunset really looks like around here... hold it steady - check!
(It stays somewhat light around here because of the sunlight bouncing off all the clouds. The converse is that it's much darker before sunset than it is in most places. Alas.)
There is no "sunset geohash" achievement - though there are plenty of pictures with Category: Sunsets. It's a pity we won't take many of those here in Seattle.
