This might be better expanded to a generalized 'the area was dedicated to a specific activity, and we did that activity' - eg, we're taking your dog to the dog park at the hash point, or the hash point is on the slide at a waterpark, and you went down the slide.
Obviously that can be abused, but it seems like more in the 'random adventure' spirit to have a 'random adventure'.
