Location

On a field near Arnstadt. By looking closer, it was actually a field in Jonastal (Jonas' Valley), where I knew my colleague J. drove by daily on his way home. So I asked him and he came over and, looking at the map, decided that this was indeed little effort and he could venture it. Yay!

Participants

Plans

Let my colleague J. drive there after work. I lent him my GPS with a short introduction.

Expedition

Fortunately we still have some light left and J. knows the area quite well, so this was a rather straight-forward affair. He drove off the street at roughly the right spot and changed onto a parallel field way. When he parked the car there was some 140m to the hash point and the field was already harvested and easily walkable, so he had more luck than us in the rain two days earlier. J. took some good screenshots and the hash grin-shot with his mobile and headed on home, curiously meeting another car on that field way shortly after. A ninja hasher?

The tale sure sounded like he had fun, too, even though I think he still views this adventure mostly as a good-willed favour to humour me... :D Congratulation to your first geohash, J.- and thanks for playing along.
