The hash lies at the northern entrance to a public parc in Köln-Kalk.

I will hitchhike to that place, maybe I arrive around 14:00. I have to go home at 15:00.

Expedition

I have left home at 7:00 and arrived at 8:30 at the junction Wilhelmshöhe. I go a lift after one and a half hour to the service station Am Haarstrang, I arrived there at 10:50. I waited there until 15:00, but I didn't get a lift further. Before I started to walk to the other side, I made a short look to the petrol prices and I was shocked. The prices had been very high.

Usually high prices mean bad chances for hitchhikers. Specially if the increase is young. So I went to the other side.

There I found an another situation, the petrol prices were as high as usual. With the understanding, that the prices of Shell are usually higher than those of Aral. But here the prices of Shell had been lower. So the situation there is somewhat other.

But if it is regionally known, that the prices at this service station are reasonable higher, all the drivers, who go into the Ruhrgebiet or around, look for other petrol stations on their way. So this seems to be the real reason, for that I couldn't get a lift from here.

For going home I got a lift within minutes, and during the journey there was a heavy thunderstorm. The prices at the service station Kassel Ost had been normal.
