After Haberdasher got a new GPS, she was itching to try it out, and this hash in the middle of Conway gave us the excuse to do so. It wasn't the optimal day to do so, given that it was foggy and drizzling and generally dreary and almost finals week besides, but hey, when the algorithm calls...

For a second, Haberdasher thought that the hashpoint was behind a shopping center, but further investigation brought us to an elementary school. It was 5 PM, so few cars were left and the place was basically deserted. We walked around the school parking lot in circles, with a few false starts and some worry that the hashpoint would be behind the barbed wire fence dividing the school from a residential neighborhood. We then followed a sidewalk around the building to arrive at another parking lot and a playground. After a brief discussion of the legality and creepiness of entering an empty school playground in the evening, we proceeded, did a few loops around the playground, ended up in between the playground and a small track and within spitting distance of a worn red bench, did the GPS dance, and finally reached the hashpoint. We then proceeded onward, our shoes muddy but our souls triumphant.
