None: an impromptu geohash!
Expedition
After a somewhat hectic week of school, I was getting ready for my spring vacation. I remembered for the first time in days to check where the day's geohashes were, and lo and behold, there was one on public land not 20 miles south of me. It looked like the perfect opportunity for my first geohash!
I quickly packed up my camera and hopped in the car; fortunately there was just enough gas to make it there and back. I programmed the GPS, turned on the radio, and set off. The twenty minutes passed quickly, and before I knew it I was pulling into the parking lot of the park.
To my surprise, there was a family on the playground: I was not prepared to encounter any people on this journey. I decided to leave the DSLR in the car, so as not to look suspicious (although I think I got a few strange glances anyway). I followed the GPS onto the field and reached the hash point as exactly as I could. I quickly took a screenshot and a panorama (thank you, panorama mode), and hurried back to the car.
With the slight high of achievement I drove back home, already anticipating my second hash!
