Plans
I wanted to go there by tram and bus, and walk around.
Expedition
I left home at 6:50, to get the tram 3 leaving Ihringshäuser Straße at 6:58, because with this tram and the connecting bus I could get the last bus 22 in the morning to the Habichtswald. I left the bus at the stop Essigberg. There my adventure began.
300 meters before the bus stop is the junction of the forest way leading to the hash. I like this form of road, it shows some older idea of road building.
Then I walked along the tarred road. Looked in the morning to the blooming trees.
A smaller forest way would lead me to the hash. But the meadows had fences of barbed wire. Could I reach the hash?
Then I came near to the hash. It was 32 meters behind the fence. Bad.
This was the look and this was I looking. No trespassing.
Some meters further I found this view. In the fence it looked like a gate, but it was keyed again with the barbed wire. But I wanted to try to walk around the meadow, maybe there was a place, where the wire was broken.
While I walked along the meadow I saw some horses on the northern meadow. And some more horses.
On the southern side of my meadow I had to pass a forest of tans. I had to walk very slowly, but again and again I found something like a trail through the thicket.
The trail ended at the place, which I had seen before. And there was a stepover across the fence.
After walking a bit zigzag over the meadow to avoid the wet places, I found the hash. The hash lied in the brook which divided the meadow.
A better view to the brook.
View to the south.
View to the north.
View to the west and to the east.
For going back into civilisation, I found after a while a bad forest way and then a better forest way, with which I could have saved some 1500 meters and a lot of thicket.
On my way out of the forest I found this wonderful sight to the country at the west of the Habichtswald.
