Planning

The hash landed just 2.5 miles away so the plan was to go for a short ride in the morning after I did some chores around the house. Then, looking at it again, I realized this would be a great opportunity for a Tron attempt.

Expedition

With the Tron course plotted out, I started on my way to the hash on my Mountain Bike because I knew I would be off-roading a little bit when I turned off Camp Rd to follow the High Voltage Wires. It was good that I had the fat tires because there were a few muddy spots that I had to go through. However, As I was riding down the trail under the wires, I could see the ramp to the I-90 and realized there was a fence between me and the hash. With the Tron now in Jeopardy, I made my way to the fence and followed the wide trail that was next to it in the hope that either there was a hole I could make it through or the hash was close enough to the fence that it was within the gps' error.

Turns out that right next to the hash is where the fence ended giving me access to scoot over to the side of the road and successfully make it to the hash. There was a tree next to the fence that I leaned my bike so to preserve the Tron, I was careful to walk directly to the fence and then along it to the end. Getting around, I walked directly to the hash, sat down so I wouldn't accidentally do the GPS dance and ruin the Tron, then got my pictures. Now facing my bike, I got up and moved off to the left and made a wide arc around the end of the fence and approached my bike from the front. That way I could pull it toward me by the handlebars and avoid crossing where I was before. Clear of the tree, I moved off into the woods and made my way back to the Wires and the trail that ran under them. Continuing to the end, I entered a small park with two baseball diamonds and exiting, continued on the pre-plotted Tron-course home.
