Location
The hash is in Over Hacking Wood, near Stonyhurst in Lancashire, and seems to be accessible via a public footpath off Knowles Brow.
Participants
Expedition
Set off from Blackburn Town Centre along familiar roads, through Whalley and to Stonyhurst. Found the path to the wood, chained bike to a tree and proceeded on foot.
Maybe not the best idea to wear SPD shoes for this expedition as the metal cleats had me skidding and slipping over stony paths but found the hash easily enough, near an ancient stone cross.
Photo taken, bike recovered, I then cycled back to Blackburn through Tolkein country via Hurst Green and Dutton.
Tracklog
All via Endomondo, including speed/elevation data.
