I had a quick lunch at my computer and left early for the estimate hoping they would be able to check things out early for me. Damage assessment was that I need the fender and the energy-absorbing cushion replaced...(So what had happened was...I was sitting at this light in the Right turn lane and it's not well marked...The big pick-up truck in front of me realized he didn't want to turn and tried backing up to go into the parking lot next to us. Well, he couldn't see us in our small car over the back of the truck bed and backed right into us. Sadly, for my second Frozen hash, there was still no snow to make a snowman, but I am issuing another Tail of Two Hashes challenge for Niagara as the hash was in Niagara County. Pictures taken, I headed home and back to work.

Checking the coords. in the morning, I saw they were decent for the Buffalo Graticule, and then I realized it could be in a great spot to get the Lockport Graticule that I still need for my Minesweeper Ribbon. The hash to the North looked to be in the wide ditch next to the road which appeared to be very accessible. Now, I had to decide if I wanted to drive 45 minutes up there after work when it would be dark.

Early in the morning, while I was still deciding, I got a call from the Collision shop to set up an estimate(I was in a minor fender-bender on 2014-12-30). I set up the appointment for 1pm during my lunch and thought if they are fast, I could have some time to make the hash too and I'd already be a third of the way there. Things were looking promising.

I wasn't paying attention as I was sitting waiting at a red light and saw what was happening too late to hit the horn. Crunch! It was just a small hole in the bumper but his insurance is covering the repairs so it could have been worse.)

Anyway, I had time so I made my way up to Lockport and found the corner where the hash fell for today and made it with no issues. It was very cold though so my Stupid Grin picture had to be taken in the car because my phone could no longer pick up my finger-press when I tried to change the setting. On the way back I saw a sign that indicated the temp was 15°F or -9°C for a definite frozen hash.

Sadly, for my second Frozen hash, there was still no snow to make a snowman, but I am issuing another Tail of Two Hashes challenge for Niagara as the hash was in Niagara County. Pictures taken, I headed home and back to work.
