Plans

It was nearby on a Saturday, we couldn't resist.

Expedition

We parked on the other side of the river and headed towards the hashpoint. We already knew it was in some sort of private property (I was expecting a No trespassing consolation prize) and decided against sneaking in due to the very obvious CCTV. Walking round to the reception we discovered the place to be Stölzle Flaconnage Limited which turns out to be a glass factory, not that we could guess from the name. Being good citizens we very politely asked the security guard if we could go and take a picture "just over there", which he let us do while looking very puzzled.

Upon reaching the hashpoint it turned out to be in the middle of a massive pile of broken glass bottles. Deciding not to risk our lives by scrambling around in broken glass to get 2m closer to the hashpoint (we were within the accuracy of my phone GPS anyway) we called it a success and left, politely thanking the security guard on the way out.

We then wandered round the back, along a path on the riverbank, looking for a suitable nearby point to leave our marker, which turned out to be a wooden fence. Pleased with ourselves, and for the first time certain beyond doubtthat we had reached the hashpoint, we returned by the way we came.
