Plans

Visiting my friend in MD this week, this is the first decent hash so far. Even the drive down on 2015-09-22 through about 8 graticules had nothing good. All the hashes have either been extremely far or in large bodies of water.

This will still be a bit of a drive, but I really want to add a new graticule to my list. We were planning on going for a Mountain bike ride today, but it is supposed to rain a lot this weekend. Depending on what we do, I'll drive to this hash either in late morning or early afternoon. I don't think there is anyone active around here so unless someone leaves a note, I won't be too concerned about exactly when I show up. I need to be at a party at 17:00 so I'll visit earlier than a normal 16:00 official meetup.

Expedition

With the weather not being rainy, we went to Rosaryville for some mountain biking and while fun, I did have 2 minor crashes. No damage, just to my ego. On the way back to the house, we stopped for lunch so I didn't have to on the way to the hash.

After writing down the directions, I was on my way about 13:30 or so. There was a little traffic around I-495 around Washington DC but otherwise was uneventful. Getting to the last road, I saw the building was not a mall but a Verizon (Wireless/Cell phone company) office building. I drove into the lot and along the back to where the hash was and parked under a tree.

Walking to the hash, I saw there was a school on the other side of the trees with a fence, but I was pretty sure the hash was in the trees. Finding it without much of a GPS dance, I got my pictures and headed back to the car. At the end of the exit road from the lot, I saw a sign that said No Trespassing, but since it was Saturday, and the lot nearly empty, plus I was there for all of 5 minutes, I didn't worry about it. Especially since I didn't see a sign where I drove in.

Success had and another graticule added to my list, I went back to my friend's house happy.
