Plans

Just walk there from Biebesheim and continue my way to Bürstadt. It's a little bit disturbing that the Hash leads me to another point in the Rhine Valley. A walk in the nearby Mountains would be more fun. But I can reach the point by foot without using public transport.

Expedition

After a good breakfast I started walking at 9 am. First the Route lead me through the ugly industrial area between Biebesheim and Gernsheim again. After an hour I reached the Rhine again close to the ferry I used yesterday. Now I walked all the way back that I walked yesterday, but this time I used the right side of the river.

The landscape varied much more on this side and especially the forests were wilder. After three hours I reached the island the Hash was located on. I could see the industrial area of Worms on the others side of the river. The island was covered with Meadows and fields and the Hash was on one of those meadows.

From here on I had to walk another two and a half hour to Bürstadt where I will stay the night in a nice little Hotel.
