Location
A snowy field near Waldsee.
Participants
Plans
Drive there on my way to the office in the early morning.
Expedition
Quite as easy as 3.1415928...
I didn't leave the B9 at Kreuz Speyer but continued to Schifferstadt Nord. After a detour of 9 KM I reached a parking lot just 150 meters from the hash. I left the car and found a path leading along the field with the hash. The hash was just 4 meters into the field. The soil was frozen, so I didn't even have to walk through mud. I was back at my car at 7:56. Sun rises today at 8:13, so I didn't have enough patience for that. I drove back to Kreuz Speyer, and continued my way to work. All in all I made a detour of 19 kilometers (just fulfilling my fuel-policy) and that took me less than half an hour.
Another advantage of driving to the hash with little car is, that it has thermometer. As you can see, it showed a temperature of -4°C what qualifies for a frozen achievement.
