Expedition
From Hannover, I first went to Uelzen by train. They have a very pretty train station that has it's own wikipedia entry. After switching trains, the next stop was Bad Bevensen. From there, I walked to the hash. It was my first in the Hamburg East graticule.
According to Google Maps, it would take me 35 minutes one-way. However, I went there, found the Geohash, took proof and went back less than one hour. This was fortunate since the trains go hourly and I did not have to wait long to go to the next station, Hamburg-Harburg.
This is the first part of my 2017-04-30 double hash, the second part is 2017-04-30 53 9.
