I got on the train in Delft, changed in Leiden and continued onto Kampen Zuid. Usually the train would go all the way to Leeuwarden, but today there was maintenance work on the tracks near Zwolle so we had to get on a rail replacement bus. This took us to Meppel, where I got on the train to Leeuwarden, and changed one more time onto a local train towards Sneek (pronounced like "Snake"). Once at Sneek I tried to get a bicycle but was disappointed to find that there were none available at the train station. I walked into town and found a bike shop that would rent me a bike for the day. It had started to rain a bit, but it wasn't really cold and there was hardly any wind, so I set off into a beautiful green landscape.

I reached the hash after about 20 minutes, took some pictures and rode on towards Bolsward to visit the local museum. After that I rode back towards Sneek and took the long train-train-bus-train-train route back home.
