I went to this hash after work, since it required only a relatively small detour from my normal commute. After getting on the usual train at Amsterdam Zuid, I got off at Leiden and got onto the bus towards Alphen. I got off the bus in Hazerswoude-Rijndijk, one of the twin Hazerswoude villages (the other one is called Hazerswoude-Dorp). The hash was just a few hundred metres from the bus stop, in a grassy area next to a road called Gemeneweg (which means "common road", probably because it links the two Hazerswoudes, but which you can also read as "mean road" in the meaning of "nasty"). Today had been a very hot day, but it was beginning to cool off slightly in the early evening. I took some pictures of the hash and the surroundings, and then got on the bus back to Leiden.

Expedition

I went to this hash after work, since it required only a relatively small detour from my normal commute. After getting on the usual train at Amsterdam Zuid, I got off at Leiden and got onto the bus towards Alphen. I got off the bus in Hazerswoude-Rijndijk, one of the twin Hazerswoude villages (the other one is called Hazerswoude-Dorp, about 3km to the south).
