After leaving Quinter, we were back on the highway and headed to another short detour to Winona off highway 40. With few turns, we found the small town and made our way to the cemetery. We pulled in and parked toward the back of the property. There was a simple, white metal fence around the cemetery and I located where the hash was behind a couple large pine trees. Moving quickly past them to the fence, I was able to reach over and get within the Circle of Uncertainty for another successful expedition. The field behind the cemetery was another cornfield and again I was really happy to avoid a No Trespassing consolation.

Expedition

My friend is moving from Tampa Bay, Florida to Denver, Colorado and I was asked if I wanted to join him for the drive. I met him in Atlanta in the evening of the 6th but there wern't any readily available hashes the first couple days of driving.

This is Part Two of a Double Hash. Our First Expedition can be found here.

After leaving Quinter, we were back on the highway and headed for another short detour to Winona off highway 40. It should also be noted that this missed being a Holy Hash by just a few meters.

Getting another set of pictures, we explored the cemetery for a few minutes admiring some of the older stones before continuing on to Denver.

The detours only added about a half hour to our drive but were nice breaks in the driving.

With two new Graticules added to my list I was even happier a couple hours later when I checked the Graticule pages and realized these were Virgin!

We made it successfully to Denver and celebrated with some BBQ and beer for dinner.
