The Edmonton graticule is at latitude 53, longitude -113. It includes the City of Edmonton and much of the surrounding area. Currently most areas are accessible to traffic over land but there are large areas where travel is restricted due to the law. Thus, the large amount of rural area surrounding the metropolitan core within the graticule poses questions. Moreover, because only approximately 15% of the area is heavily populated chances of reaching remote coordinates on private land are very remote.
The graticule currently has a Facebook group[1] . This group is far from active.
