The Cleveland graticule is at latitude 41, longitude -81. It includes the Greater Cleveland Metropolitan area, Akron, and the schools of: Cleveland State, Case Western Reserve, and John Carroll.

In the likely event that a date's geohash is over Lake Erie, it is recommended that the shoreline point directly south be used instead.
