Expedition
Similar to the recent 2020-08-10 expedition, this hash landed in the middle of the road near Downtown. Again being within cycling distance, the plan was to ride up and again attack a couple enemy portals in Ingress on the way. After a very lazy morning, I checked the weather around 11:00 and realized I needed to leave for the hash asap. There were chances of rain and thunderstorms in the forecast starting around 14:00.
I was quick to get ready and get on my way. Pretty much riding up Route 62, I took South Park into downtown stopping occasionally to attack some portals along the way. Getting into Downtown, I took Michigan to Genesee and had an easy time finding the hash. I got a couple pictures and then turned around. Getting back into Downtown, I made a few portal connections of my own and created a bunch of fields for the Enlightened. The rest of the ride home was uneventful, but I'm glad I went when I did because it did rain a bit right around 14:00.
As I was preparing to write up the report, I thought that Genesee would make for a good Tale of Two Hashes challenge since there are a lot of options for that in Western New York. However, going to the Achievement page, I found I already issued a challenge in a different Graticule, so I guess I'll complete my own challenge from 2017.
