Definition
- Geohashers who would take this ribbon must meet a cat during the expedition (significantly close to the geohash, but not necessarily at the geohash itself[1]) -- bringing one's own cat along for the trip is not this achievement, but is instead a drag-along achievement.
- They must pat the cat (have physical contact that is not aggravating the cat).
- They must not force patting on an unfriendly cat -- this is uncouth and may also be bad luck, depending on the coat colour of the cat.
- They must prove this with a photo of the cat, and ideally but not necessarily also depicting the claimant.
