| + | I wasn't that busy in the end, but I still went there in the forenoon before eating breakfast. I did not make it to the only convenient bus, unfortunately, so I had to cycle the entire way. It was -5 °C (my first [[Frozen Geohash]] in my fourth winter of Geohashing!), remarkably cold for December. I am quite sensitive to cold temperatures, and being outside for over an hour in this temperature is no joke – so I prepared by wearing thick woolen socks above my normal socks, a second jersey, long underwear, a thick jacket, two hoods above my beanie, a scarf over nose and cheeks, and heated gloves. Thus equipped, only my hands got cold on the 6.2 km to the hash. | ||
