Yesterday was a public holiday and I had taken the Friday off to have a four-day week-end. I left home in the early afternoon and cycled to Neuve-Église. The coordinates were located in the middle of the Giessen, a tributary of the river Ill, in a small wood between Neuve-Église, Saint-Maurice and Triembach-au-Val.
I cycled through the three villages in order to find the best approach route and arrived on the left bank 20 minutes later. I left my shoes there and walked about 20 meters up the bed of the stream to reach the coordinates.
After recording proof, I cycled back home.
