Location
A location with a great view in the north of Gran Canaria.
Participants
Plans
Third hash on holiday. Second virgin graticule, 2nd consecutive hash. Hopefully accessible.
Expedition
After dropping bilbo_b off at the airport, I continued further north, to see if I could get the second graticule of Gran Canaria as well (after visiting the south one yesterday). I parked at the main road and went the rest by foot (very steep, and no idea if parking would be possible higher up). I didn't know there were eucalyptus trees here (smells amazing)! As I got closer to the hash, the view started to be amazing in all directions (hashpoint is near a mountain ridge). The hashpoint itself was covered in shrubbery complete with stinging nettle, and probably on private grounds as well. But there were no fences, so I decided to have a go at it. The view made up for it all (and the virgin graticule, I guess...). Success!
