The Inverness graticule is at latitude 46, longitude -61. It contains the eastern end of the Northumberland Strait, the south east Gulf of St. Lawrence, a section of Cape Breton Island including Lake Ainslie and East Point, Prince Edward Island.
The area of Cape Breton that this graticule includes is fairly hilly, and combined with the graticule being about seventy-five percent water, makes this a fairly tough graticule. Prince Edward Island land hash points in this graticule are extremely rare.
