Torodeas tries to go there by public transport, leaving Erlangen at 14:55 and arriving at the hash ~16.40 or so.
Expedition
After leaving work, I hopped onto a two busses (293 and 281) to connect up to Erlangen central station. The train I planned for - the one leaving at 14:55 - is delayed by 5 minutes, but since I have a generous connection in Bamberg onto my final bus 963 to the hash, I don't really worry too much about that. And as planned, when we arrive in Bamberg, now with ~10 minutes delay, I still have enough time to easily catch my bus.
However, only a few minutes into my ride with my final bus towards the hash, my plan comes to an abrupt end: As we drive towards a green traffic light, suddenly most cars on the road break to allow a crossing police car with priority to pass.
