Location
In a cornfield north of Spring Valley, MN.
Participants
Plans
Kyrkazakh (talk): Back in the saddle, and by the saddle I mean a Kia Sorento! Popping over after an appointment.
Expedition
Kyrkazakh (talk): Success! I saw the coords got released and within an hour and a half I was driving towards the site. High winds today especially out in the fields. This hash site was slightly inside a cornfield, but the only land being farmed/harvested this time of year is the winter wheat (and even then they're basically done). So hypothetically popping in and popping out wouldn't hurt anyone or damage any property. Coords were reached, photos were taken. I was fascinated by the discarded corncobs, frozen to the detritus-covered ground in each row. They would make good fuel for a campfire, if they weren't frosted by solid water. Back to the car and to warmth, thank goodness. It's starting to get biting cold around here. Soundtrack for today was early Ok Go, particularly "Invincible".
