Paintedhell has been there, dragging along her boyfriend. It was also a No Batteries Geohash, as we relied on two printed screenshots (but it was pretty easy to find, since Grosshettstedt isn't too big and there were power poles for better orientation in the field).

This was my first geohash ever, and also the first documented Geohash in this graticule. I have no proof of the date - shame. Have I reached the Virgin Graticule and the Land Geohash achievement still?

The location was not exactly near Jena, but we were on our way home, so we thought it would be nice to drop by. Of course, no one else had been there. As expected, no one of the people we met was aware of the historical importance of Grosshettstedt on this day - they looked rather suspicious at the two strangers beating their fields. Originally, we had hoped to find a field of corn, but there was only wheat, which isn't quite as tasty. So we left soon and found the corn elsewhere.
