September 12, 2008 Meetup for Valdosta, Georgia

So, yeah, Zingor and I drove down I-10 for this one. It was so close to the interstate that I was hoping for a Speed Racer achievement, but the hash wound up in a tree farm just down from the exit. Zingor has the pictures, so all I can do is point out that she wore sandals in terrain covered with wiregrass and wild blackberries (ouch!). But first, we joined in the gas panic here in Tallahassee at around 5:30 PM. The lines were so long at the station that we didn't make it onto the highway until after 6 o'clock. [This page is a stub.
