Expedition
excellentdude: This might be my shortest writeup ever. :-) With my girlfriend in another car behind me, I was leaving Missouri to head back to mid-Michigan for the coming school year on this day. As usual before lengthy road trips, I checked the day's coordinates before leaving. The Indy grat's coordinates fell right in a suburban front yard and only about 5 miles off our course. The point was almost perfectly placed for a gas/food/bathroom break during the trip. When we got to Indy, we easily pulled into the neighborhood of the point. On my way to the front door to get permission to access the point, my GPS found the point on the walkway to the door. Success! I took the normal pictures, sans the girlfriend who did not want to be pictured that day, and then we hit the road again!
