Invasion request
Hi there!
Is it okay for you if I use your graticule for a moment tomorrow?
Also, since I couldn't meet you back in Lucerne, it would be awesome to have a meet-up if you've got the time. The schedule on the planning page is completely open for debate, I've got time all day.

I just checked out your NWoodruff map. Are you trying to break it with hashes so far apart? Awesome! --Sourcerer (talk) 12:45, 30 January 2015 (EST)

The geohash tomorrow 2015-07-31 49 8 is only 5 km from the centre of Karlsruhe, at Rheinhafen. I have been at the exact same place about 2 weeks ago and I would like to go tomorrow. Probably in the evening, after 4 pm, and maybe I will take my brother with me after his exam. - elimik31 (talk)
- Sorry, I did read it, but I'm currently (and probably for the rest of the year) not in Karlsruhe. How did it turn out? --RecentlyChanged (talk) 07:57, 4 August 2015 (EDT)

Sorry, but I read your plans to come to this one too late. Otherwise, I may have rearranged mine so we could have met. Anyway, I'm sure we will meet somewhen in the future :) --Klaus (talk) 17:11, 16 August 2015 (EDT)
Leap Second
It depends how strict you are. At 23:59:60 I was at 2017-01-01 52 0. To claim the leap second, I should have been at 2016-12-31 52 0. At least I was a the wrong hashpoint for the leap second. The Vienna team at 2016-12-31 48 16 got it even more wrong with a time zone error. Their leap second was at 1 am. And they should have been at 2017-01-01 48 16. So it's fail, fail. For me, a bit like Brexit - D'Oh! --Sourcerer (talk) 15:17, 6 January 2017 (UTC)
- That's sad. I wouldn't have done it anyway if I knew earlier. But I would have told the community. But I only heard it in the radio about eight hours before it happened. We will get it! -- RecentlyChanged (talk) 09:59, 24 January 2017 (UTC)
