Today is Towel Day. So, better travelling with your towel, in general of course but today in particular.
Today is holiday in Germany, Whit Monday (Monday after Pentecost). The weather was quite nice, but due to the holiday, public transport is not an option; I took my car.
The roads were not much packed with cars, but with cyclists. I had to be careful. After a ride of an hour or so, I arrived in the area of the geohash. From the map I wasn't sure if there were any parking lots, but driving along the street I saw cars already parking aside. I joint them.
The rest was a walk of approx. 400m. But wait: adjusting my eTrex, it went off, battery outage. Okay, modern man has smartphone with geohashing app (I already told at 2015-01-01 51 12 geohash report), so Plan B was set.
The geohash itself was on a meadow between two small forests. It was still warm though the weather was decreasing, and one could hear the sounds of nature. After taking the usual photographs, I walked back to my car and drove home. But a different way to catch a bit more of the landscape.
