Hello fellow Germans all over the world, a happy National Holiday to all of us.

Long time, no geohash. Two months, well, time for a comeback. There were initially two geohash which looked promising, and I decided on short notice in favour of this one.

Around 10 o'clock I started with my car and headed towards the autobahn. It was not very crowded, people seemed to sleep longer today.

From the map I guessed where a parking lot might be, and indeed, reaching that place in Dirlewang, there several empty spots. I parked and walked towards the geohash. My eTrex said it might be around 700m as the bird flies. After passing some dairy farms and wood-working industry buildings, I arrived at some meadows. On one of those, there was the geohash.

I took the usual photographs and had a small rest. I took a different route back, which let me pass some cows. Standing there and taking more photos, they became curious and came to me. I had this experience once when I played my alphorn (2013-10-12 46 7), but without I was quite uninteresting to cows...until now.

I arrived at my car and left Dirlewang. On the autobahn I asked myself "Now what?". I remembered the second promising geohash today ... (to be continued)
