Plans

It's soo long ago that I don't actually remember who came up with the idea to hash (I'm writing this in mid July, several months later...) it was probably our mutual friend "DaTschech" who found that another Vienna-city hashpoint was on the map. The three of us (B2c, DaTschech and I) quickly exchanged IM's to coordinate how we would meet and approach the hash site. It turned out it was located directly in a nice Steak restaurant, so our place seemed reasonable to meet after work for steak, beer and a hash ;-)

Expedition

Since the three of us worked at different sites here in Vienna, each of us had different plans to reach the hashpoint. My workplace was probably the farthest away and in probably the dodgiest area of Vienna, plus I had the longest route to the hashsite, still B2c would say I was fashionably late -.- However, I took the Tram 6 to Gumpendorfer street, and then jumped into the tube U6 for 3 more stops to Thaliastreet. This was the closest station to the steak restaurant "Flatchers" where the hashpoint was actually located. I remember it was raining cats and dogs and by the time I reached the hashpoint I was soaking wet because I forgot to bring an umbrella. (D'oh!) When I arrived at the hashsite errrr restaurant, B2c and DaTschech were already awaiting me with a beer. The table, where we sat was actually the closest point to the hash (see the proof and more proof screenshots below). It was probably the most comfortable hashsite in the history of hashpoints: steaks, beer and a good old hash mmm ;-)
