Two old polypores by the hashpoint (translator's note: in Finnish the word for polypore can also mean an elderly person)

This autumn the woods near Pastori are chock full of all sorts of berries and mushrooms and today there was a hashpoint to boot! So Pastori and Wife decided to pack a full lunch to go and off they went! The point was only 8.5 km away as the bird flies but taking the road the distance was 16 km. The point was right by a pond. There were some other geohashers swimming in the pond. The closest they got was 2.2 m. Because the point itself was a wet and swampy thicket they couldn't very well eat their lunch there and so Pastori and Wife continued driving and tried to find a better place to set their lunch while picking mushrooms and berries. They found a nice spot by a familiar lake and Pastori had a fire going in no time at all while Wife dug out all their delicious goodies. Their theme was two of everything since ”two's company”. By this time they had already found some of each of the following mushrooms: Lactarius trivialis, Lactarius torminosus, Lactarius rufus, Leccinum versipelle, Suillus variegatus, Rozites caperatus, Russula paludosa. They ate the mushrooms at home after proper preparation but their already prepared lunch tasted delicious out in the nature in the crisp autumn air. After they finished their lunch they headed home while stopping to check out some of the bushes by the roads and Pastori managed to find some more delicious mushrooms, for example Lactarius turpis. And the rest you already know: home, sauna, coffee, ice cream, mushroom salad, mushroom stew and rye bread.
