Location

Today's geohash for Helsinki graticule. Located in the Nuuksio National Park, about 25 km to the northwest of the CBD. Not far from the Kattila service point to where Espoo bus line 85A terminates.

Narrative

My journey began from the central railway station on a commuter train to Espoo station. There I changed from train to a bus that took me to Kattila - in the heart of Nuuksio National Park.

I followed the southbound walking track towards Haukkalampi through the autumnal forest where the leaves glared in all shades of yellow and red. After about 1 km walk along the worn path I reached the hashpoint. Conveniently located only a few meters from the path.

The location was pleasant as was getting there. Some 50 meters towards east I found a scenic spot and good hiding place for a geocache that I had brought with me. It doesn't qualify a Hash Collision for me and is so far from the hashpoint that the unlikely later hashers are unlikely to find it.

I continued my walk towards south and circled two lakes that are plenty in Nuuksio. Truly enjoyable walks to and from the hashpoint.
