Location

Another day, another field.

Plans

It's hashiversary time again for both hashers so they can't really not go. After scouting the locations of the day this one seems to be the most likely successful attempt with a mere 40 minute drive.

Expedition

As yesterday, the two hashers met at Mampfred's place after work around 6:45pm. Although we heard about lots of rain elsewhere in the country we luckily had seen only a few drops over the day so we were confident that it's not going to be a seriously muddy field again.

The drive was unspectacular albeit Rincewind had to swerve a number of cats on the road. Too many reallyto have been a coincidence so we are starting to suspect an evil plot of the cat-people against geohashers in the Erfurt area. We'll keep you posted as our investigation continues.

The field turned out to be dry alright and there wasn't any crop to be damaged. It also turned out to be very windy indeed. Although we should have known that by now, we're surprised year by year as to how windy the general area gets during fall.

The hash was easily found but we forgot to bring cake. We decided to move the celebrations to another time and headed back home. Swerving more cats. The usual.
