Excellent news! It's nearly time for Geohashing Day 2017. It falls on a Sunday this year. Given the unequivocal success of the last one, we are all thinking about this year's.
We will have nearly fifty hours' notice of the location, this being a meeting at 4pm on a Sunday. The hashpoint may be in water, for example The Wash, or on inaccessible land. In these cases, we aim to get as close to the point as possible.
Location
A short trespass along two sides of a field perimeter off Cutthroat Lane, south east of Dereham and north of Yaxham, Norfolk, UK. Surely pirate attire is demanded!
Participants
The following people will try to make it:
Tongs- Simon (B)
Deepa (M)
Wiff (Tiff)- Sourcerer (Neil's is setting out at about 16:00 and the ETA is 17:00 - excuses and grovelling are on the the talk page. )
- ChromeCrusaders (Callum (probably Josh too))
Participants coming from further afield might be able to get lifts, crash space, or just local information by asking on the talk page.
