From Geohashing

I now live in a different graticule, somewhere in central London. If the hashpoint is reachable by train from a London station in fewer than two hours I'll likely attempt it, though from what I've seen of the 52,0 graticule, it's unlikely to turn out that way. The other anniversary expedition is on a Monday. I really hope I manage to get a job by then, but if I don't, the same applies. Enthusiasm for geohashing among the other tongs has fallen since our first expedition nearly four years ago, so it might just be me. I'll try to convince Wiff if I can. - Wishing you all the best in your move. Wouldn't it be fun if the point landed in Benjw's beer festival! I'll message Bill to see if it can be arranged. London, west and east are pretty quiet seeing as the population is so big. Perhaps you can change that. --Sourcerer (talk) 06:25, 30 January 2018 (UTC)
- Thank you! If the point landed in the beer festival that's as good a signal as I can think of that the universe is telling us to drink beer, and we would have to comply. I am keeping an eye on the hash in both Londons most days, but even when they are close it's very often in someone's house or garden. Public transport of course makes things a lot easier, but it must be reachable when I get there. I'll keep looking and see if I can rack up a few more expeditions down here. Fingers crossed for May.
