I took the train to Nordhausen-Salza via Northeim and walked the rest of the distance.
It was cold, dark and foggy, very fitting for the winter solstice. The pictures below make it look like it was a snowstorm, but I think that is just how fog particles look when they are photographed with a flash.
Once in Herreden, the bridge is not far, the Herreder Bach slowly flowing underneath.
After recording proof, I walked back to the station and took the train back to Hannover. It was good to be back in the warm train, my hands vere pretty cold since I forgot my gloves.
