One of my friends suggested we hang out on what might turn out to be the last summery day of 2023. A friend from this group just moved back to the area and invited all of us to her place for sandwiches, drinks and to check out the new place and we all thought this was a great idea. After work, I came home to feed Myka and apologize for running back out again (but honestly, I think she is pretty happy just sleeping on the couch all day). I then pulled up the HashDroid app and got directions to the Lockport hash. I think if I wasn't planning on hanging out with friends, I would have tried to leave work a bit early and make a run down to Allegany for the Buffalo Hash. Alas, I did not have the time to do that, so it'll be a single hash today.

I didn't have too much trouble getting there, but I did turn off the main road too early so ended up just going down a different street to my next turn. Finding the park, I saw a couple different teams out on the diamonds in what looked like softball practice. I figured I would be good as the hash was outside the main diamond behind the small bleachers and next to a very large electrical junction box. Back on the HashDroid app, I was able to get a good reading and some pictures of the area.

In looking at this hash earlier, I noticed there was also a GeoCache in the middle of the park. However, with all the people out there, I didn't think it would be good for me to wander around trying to find a cache so I skipped that. Likely would have been direct line of site too, unless it turned out to be on the other side of one of the buildings. Either way, I was happy to record another success and headed to the store to get some beers and Ice Cream to go with the peach cobbler for dessert.
