About
Hashpoint was a few feet into a field off of the road in front of my house.
Expedition
Involute: I was a bit astounded to see that the day's location was just 317m from my house (and I had driven within a few feet of it on my way to work that morning). A couch potato honorable mention -- imagine all the achievements I can rack up with such easy access!
I get home from work a bit late and walk out to scout the exact location after dinner. It's about 20°F, dark, and windy. Sure enough, the spot is a bit of frozen ground in a field -- I take some preliminary photos. The camera becomes uncooperative... my fingers become uncooperative (why don't I own gloves?)... the young wheat looks sad about the cold too. I'll just go back to the house and warm up a bit before getting some pictures of me dressed formally and juggling while standing on a couch that I'll carry out to the site on a purpose-built cart that I'll drag behind my bicycle.
......
Gee, it's nice and warm in the house... and "The Daily Show" will be on soon...
......
Is there a blown golden opportunity achievement?
