What's left of the Chandeleur Islands constitute the eastern most part of the state of Louisiana. They are the only land surface in graticule 29N 88W.
29 -88. Long ago they supported a small population and even a light house. They were most recently devastated by the hurricanes of this century. Little remains above water.
