I think that's one of the amazing side-effects of this game - a better appreciation for geography, foreign and local. And things like the quote that was on the main page recently:

It was a pretty interesting project. One thing I didn't do, though, is mark where the Canada/US border goes south of the 49th... strictly speaking, where it does that, the associated 48N graticule is also part of the region. -- Rhonda 19:00, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
