Back-story... (or something)

I'm a long-time reader of xkcd, and saw The Algorithm when it was originally published on the site a few years ago. However, I was unaware of the actual phenomena of GeoHashing until my lunch-break on 5th March 2012, when myself and fellow student nurse Matingslinkys stumbled across the Wiki whilst surfing the web and decided we were going to make this a hobby!

Expeditions to date

2012-03-05 54 -3 (with Matingslinkys) - To a large boggy field somewhere near Uldale, in Cumbria. Fun trip, for a first go!

2012-03-06 54 -3 (with Matingslinkys) - To a darkened field, several miles north of Wigton, in Cumbria. First GPS Tracklog-proven hash!
