Aw, no GPS unit will ever work indoors! You shouldn't blame yours. And since the mall doesn't appear to be oriented along N-S / E-W directions it would have been very hard to count paces or something. Well, it's good to hear that it's not just mine then. And I think it was roughly oriented, but only roughly so. And the rain probably wasn't helping GPS reception either.
