From Geohashing

Sorry for disturbing, but this place had been well within Moscow city limit since (at least) the July 1 expansion :-) (It is just outside the Ring Road though, and I think just outside the pre-July city limits as well.) --January First-of-May 09:55, 27 September 2012 (EDT)
- Thanks for pointing out! vb 14:20, 4 October 2012 (EDT)
No Trespassing?
On the one hand yes, on the other - I did got damn close. As far as I understood, there is no strict rule in such cases. So probably it is for me to deside. Or is it?
Anyway, I decided to think about it later as well as about other tag/ribbon related questions - like when I get real bored and have no other things to do.
Sorry for that. vb 14:20, 4 October 2012 (EDT)
- I think what it comes down to is whether it's within GPS accuracy. If your GPS is inaccurate enough to be 20 meters off, then it'd be fine, but I rather doubt it's that bad, in which case it would be a No Trespassing hash. Hope this helps. -Haberdasher 17:52, 4 October 2012 (EDT)
- So be it :) What bother me though that it seem to make such hashes pointless even to try to, despite the fact that it is might be still a good adventure. OK, to think about - as far as I understand, geohashing was supposed to be mostly about people meeting together, in which case it would be no problem. vb 05:22, 6 October 2012 (EDT)
