Hello! The woodpecker is Black Woodpecker. We have those also here in Finland, in Finnish it's called "palokärki". - Tilley (talk) 13:29, 3 June 2013 (EDT)
- Thanks! Alas, its head was much more red and less black than that (and according to the wikipedia article the black woodpecker lives only in Eurasia) ... so I don't think it's one of those. May be hard to tell what it really is, as that picture didn't capture the head well. -- OtherJack (talk) 16:51, 3 June 2013 (EDT)
